Fixed Deposit (ADV - Financial)

Hi,
i would like to know more about this fixed deposit trading.
One of my friend approached me saying that i will get a 200% return on the next day if i give my FDR of Rs 10C for trading.
I just want to know\
1. Is it a workable proposition
2. how does it work?
3. Why would a bank/institution give us so much returns?
4. how does the bank /broking firm benefit out of this deal
