Good Job!!! (Kali Haldi)
Hello Mr.Balaji!!
You've done great job to grow them and posted the plant and its beautiful flora. Curcuma Caesia (What you've called as Black Turmeric / Kali-Haldi) is such rare, endangered and threatened species (RET), one has to protect them by growing beside destroying them for their foolish black magic tests which never shall happen as they said. Keep up the good work.
The thing is, there are two to three varieties in this black turmeric rhizomes. The one you've posted is widely available in Odissa and in Maharastra states. Some rhizomes grows horizontal and some in vertical. Some are very small and thin and others are very big. Very big sized black turmeric rhizomes avail in Nagaland and surroundings.
