2nd type of black turmeric usage

Botanical Name: Curcuma caesia

Common Name: Black Turmeric Hindi: Kali Haldi Black turmeric is a perennial herb with bluish-black rhizome. It is native to north-east states and Orissa. The leaves have a deep violet-red patch which runs through the length of the lamina. Generally the upper side of the leaf is rough and velvety. This character may vary. Flower petals are pink in colour. The rhizome is bitter, hot taste with pungent smell. Black turmeric is used in Tantra Sadhana, Bhairav Sadhana and Removing Black Magic. It is also used in Vastu to counter and nullify the negative forces in the house. Northern tribes use black turmeric as a talisman to keep the evil spirits away. Medicinal uses of black turmeric: It is used in treating piles, leprosy, bronchitis, asthma, cancer, epilepsy, fever, wounds, impotency, fertility, menstrual disorders, tooth ache, vomiting etc .
