Holly Quran Sharif Book of 6th century with herbal pages (Functional Items)

In my opinion there is nothing wrong in selling such things.

Points to note:

  • People buy religious books from the book shops.
  • People also buy posters, calendars & statues from shops for their homes.
  • People also buy idols of Lord Ganesh for puja before immersing them in the rivers and oceans as part of the ritual.
  • The above are not available for free.
  • Nobody gives the above things for free.

So why are you people objecting to this sale?

People even have to buy prasad before offering it to God.

In many temples, specially in South India, people even have to pay extra for "special darshan" and save time.

So why are some people objecting to the selling of Gita or Quran?

Can you get these for free from a book shop?
