U r quite a knowlegable personm

M.Narasimham 1982 – 1983
Q 1 =then hw come I G PATEL's SIGN. appear on that ?
and as per ur info in 1957 {H.M. Patel 1955 – 1958}was fin secy.

Dear Vinay Aneja,
Hope you are doing well!
I am glad someone asked me these questions a lot of people have the same doubts.
-----------------------------------------------------
Your question was..........Sir I hv Re 1 note of 1982,clear watermark in Light. Sign ;1982; very clear, but is is signed by Dr I G Patel.as per ur info in 1982 fin.secy. was MR R.N. Malhotra 1980 – 1982
M.Narasimham 1982 – 1983
*Q 1 =then hw come I G PATEL's SIGN. appear on that ?*
Answer to your first question: All and any one rupee notes printed in the year 1972 had the signature of I.G. Patel, so someone must have deleted the '7' of 1972 and conveniently printed/pasted an '8' over the 7.........this is how a 1972 note which was actually an original 1972 one rupee note with an original watermark became a 1982 note, so that note becomes a 100 percent fake note if you/anyone tries to sell it as a 1982 one rupee note, I hope u did not pay a high price of that fake note.
------------------------------------------------------
Your second question was...............
and as per ur info in 1957 {H.M. Patel 1955 – 1958}was fin secy.
*Q 2 =
Then hw come in 1957 notes r present with LK JHA and S bhootalngum's/a. k. roy's sign ?*
Answer to your Second question:....ok i understand you mean lk jha and a.k. roy and not bhoothaligam............But the interesting part here is that, if, we all notice after the year 1957 we directly see notes printed in the year 1963.....so the fact/reality is that any notes printed between the year 1958 and 1962 the dye used by RBI was of ONLY 1957....so from the table below please see the following:
H.M. Patel-1955 to 1958....
A.K. Roy-1958 to 1960....
L.K. Jha-1960 to 1964....
So you will find 3 above mentioned signatures on the 1957 one rupee notes.
That way you will find signatures of H.M. Patel, A.K. Roy and L.K. Jha on the notes having the year 1957 mentioned on the reverse of the notes.
Hope this information was helpful,

hi santosh ji
thx 4 ur quick reply...
But Sir I m not convinced with ur second answer. as u wrote:=
But the interesting part here is that, if, we all notice after the year 1957 we directly see notes printed in the year 1963.....so the fact/reality is that any notes printed between the year 1958 and 1962 the dye used by RBI was of ONLY 1957....so from the table below please see the following:

So you will find 3 above mentioned signatures on the 1957 one rupee notes.
Sir u say that- after the year 1957 we directly see notes printed in the year 1963.....bur sir I have a note OF year 1960 also so u r wrong here.. secondly if the dye after 1957 used was same as of 1957 then after notes printed 1957 upto 1963 the sign. should be of Mr H M PATEL coz in 1957 dye was of MR H M PATEL
So Sir again convince me with ur another answer coz m in a fix now......

Vinay,
Your one rupee note printed in 1960 is a fake note as no one rupee note was printed in the year 1960.
I have already answered your question in detail earlier and my answer was very clear , but here you are trying to prove me wrong and you are not satisfied with my answers, if you think i am wrong or you have more information than me, than what can i do?, why are you asking me to convince you.... I am not obligated to answer any of your queries.
You are free to do the following:
1.)believe whatever you want,
2.)sell whatever you want,
3.)buy whatever you want,
4.)write whatever you want.
You don't need to argue with me or prove me wrong, I never tried to prove you wrong? It was you who started this conversation/argument.
Please do not expect any more replies from me in the future, because i will not be replying to you anymore.
Best Regards

thank u very much.
by ur reply now i understand that nobody is king/perfect in this line.
coz when i asked a logical answer u were not able to reply....
ur another contradiction : in ur site indian paper currency u have written this :-
One Rupee Note 1951 H.M. Patel Plain Any 800 80,000 None
One Rupee Note 1951 H.M. Patel A Any 750 75,000 None
and also u say somewhere foll.list of fin.secy.
K.G. Ambegaonkar 1950 – 1955
H.M. Patel 1955 – 1958
B.K. Nehru 1958 – 1959
then why r u asking/buying/selling one rupee note of tear 1951 with HM PATEL's sign. when he was not fin secy in 1951 ?
Sorry ! if u felt bad but my intension was not to prove wrong..its ur perception 2 see the things..
thx n bye..
vinay aneja....

Dear All Users of Rice-puller,
This is a very interesting situation and everyone who wants to know the real truth will have to spend sometime to understand this situation.
Please see the below chart of signatories:
1951 K.G. Ambegaonkar(1950 to 1955)
1951 H.M. Patel(1955 to 1958)The RBI was using the the dye of 1951 even during the time of H.M. Patel because between 1951 to 1957 no one rupee notes were printed with a new dye only the signatories were changed.this means any note printed during 1955 to 1956 will be having signature of H.M. Patel, but the dye use was of 1951, this way you will find one rupee notes with signature of H.M. Patel and dye of 1951.
and once again from 1958 to 1962 no one rupee notes were printed with a new dye and only the signatories were changed so in the same manner,
1957 H.M. Patel (1955 to 1958)These were the first set of notes with 1957 dye.
1957 A.K. Roy (1958 to 1960)again the 1957 dye was used
1957 L.K. Jha (1960 to 1964) again till 1962 the 1957 dye was used
Everyone concerned will have to personally check themselves with RBI if 1951 one rupee notes were printed with the signature of H.M. Patel or not...you can get the address of RBI from your local bank or you can try to search online.
This way everyone and anyone who wants to know the real truth will agree to this final solution.
I can say that i have checked with RBI and RBI says yes that the one rupee notes were printed with the signature of H.M. Patel with the year mentioned 1951...
and
other people can say that ...they have checked with RBI and RBI says No, the one rupee notes were not printed with the signature of H.M. Patel with the year mentioned 1951
So once again instead of believing other people or myself ,the people concerned and who are new to this industry will have to personally check themselves with RBI.
And the people who have spent some time in this industry will surely agree with me.
